THE 2025 REPUBLICAN PARTY RE-ORG

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

What is a Re-Org?

A Re-Org, or reorganization, is a process that occurs every two years within the South Carolina Republican Party to refresh its leadership and structure at all levels, from precincts to the state. During a Re-Org, local Republicans gather to elect officers like precinct president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer. These local leaders then move up to participate in county conventions, where they elect county officers and delegates to the state convention. This process is crucial for grassroots engagement and for setting the direction of the party for the next two years.

Why is the Re-Org important ?

The Re-Org is vital because it directly impacts how our local party functions and influences the broader Republican agenda in South Carolina. By participating, you can help shape who leads our county, what issues we prioritize, and how we engage with our community. It's an opportunity to bring fresh ideas into our party structure, strengthen our local representation, and ensure that Florence County's voice is heard at both regional and state levels. Additionally, it fosters community involvement, encouraging more residents to take an active role in political processes, which can lead to greater voter turnout and party support.

What happens at a Re-Org meeting?

At a Re-Org meeting, attendees will elect precinct officers who will represent their local area. These meetings are not only about electing leaders but also about discussing local issues, setting goals for the party, and planning community engagement activities. There will be opportunities for members to voice their opinions on the direction of the party, propose initiatives, and network with other Republicans. After electing precinct officers, these leaders will then move to the county level to further shape the party's leadership and strategy.

Mike Page

FCGOP Chairman

Mike Page is the Chairman of the Florence County Republican Party, born in Mullins, SC, and a former US Sailor. He has been in the IT career for 38 years. As a Christian, husband, and father, he had never been active in politics until he realized that he had taken the freedom and liberty that our Founding Fathers gave us for granted. He believes that God has three institutions: the family, government, and the local church, and he has dedicated himself to the family and the church but not to the government. Concerned about the future of his children and grandchildren, he got involved with the Republican Party to protect the great freedoms that our founding fathers have bequeathed us. He believes that the Democratic Party has kicked God out of the party years ago and wants family, country, and government to be the pillars of liberty.
